Is the colour on your car? If so I suggest get a part scanned by a paint supplier. A couple of years ago I had some paint work done, removed the fuel flap (Interceptor 3) and took it to the paint supplier. Perfect!

Re: Golfing tip from a famous Jensen owner
At Chorley Golf Club where I have been a member since 1990, we have the Tony Jacklin Trophy medal competition. In 2008 I played well enough and had the bit of luck we all need to win it. Unfortunately my golf game has gone down hill, but still playing!!!

Re: Interceptor Registration Numbers
Hello Jim, You are correct that RPL 101M went to auction in Oxfordshire but the sale wasn't finalised. Peter Spencer, member 11017, was on his way down to the auction and received a call that the car had been sold. Shortly afterwards the car was his! He now owns a second Jensen BWP 743M. regards David

Interceptor Inspection
Hello All, Last Wednesday I made a trip to Cumbria (Wigton) to carry out an inspection on the Interceptor 3 belonging to David Pearson, member 11031. The car had been imported from Sweden where it has been since the early 1980's. It still has Swedish plates and the purpose of the inspection was to e...

Hello Toby,
Nice car, especially like the spoiler, my Mk3 has the same design fitted when Cropredy carried out a restoration in 2008.

Re: Tyres - same old topic but help needed
When I took charge of my Int.Mk3 in 2011 the tyres were Dunlop SP and getting tired. My tyre of choice is Michelin so I went for 215/65 15R ENERGY. They were reasonably priced in 2013 at £113/tyre. After some thousands of miles they look like new and performance is first class. They are still availa...

Pendle Powerfest
The above event was scheduled for next Saturday at the Rolls Royce Leisure Club, Barnoldswick. I gave them a call and was informed, 'surprise-surprise', that it wouldn't be taking place. The rule of 6 applies and would lead to a £10,000 fine if exceeded. Hopefully, like all the other shows 2021 will...

As previously posted went to Capesthorne yesterday and had an excellent day, plenty of sunshine and warm. FIRST SHOW THIS YEAR!!! Classic Cars who organised this event also do Cholmondeley Castle, which is Sunday 20 September. All being well, and decent weather, we should be going there. We will pro...
