1976 Owners original Handbook

I have just found my handbook from my 1976 Interceptor that I sold a few years ago it's in great condition, if anyone is after one I have just put it on eBay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/113003902080?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649" onclick="window.open(this.href);re...

Worst advert ever by a marque specialist?

How can anyone put that pic as the main one in the eBay listing? I am sure you will have all seen it the advert is to have one restored at nearly £50k but most people will have not read the advert and thought this was a genuine car for sale, they really should alter it as it is doing them no favours...

Re: Blue MK3 at Cheshire classic cars

The car sold this week I am not sure what it went for as it was SOR but I think it was near to the asking price. As I say I still think it was a cheap car compared to other 70s era cars like the Elan TR6 and some MGCs. The Jensen was always a niche way above these cars when new but most nice interce...

Re: Highest price ?

I still think good genuine well restored interceptors are still way too cheap I notice Paul Matty's have a restored Elan Sprint fixed head just in at 55k! I know totally different cars but same era and a good guide to where classic prices are at the moment...plus I bet it sells.

Re: Blue MK3 at Cheshire classic cars

That's true but to be honest I don't think that centre arm rest is that important a small piece of black leather will soon put that right if you don't like it. The fact it has new leather including£250 pounds worth of new foam cushions that make such a big difference to sit on compared to nearly 40 ...

Re: Another £100k FF from Mr Cassar.

I am seriously starting to think if I put mine up for sale at £35k I might be regretting it in only 6 months.....I had a friend that sold his house before the last boom he sat on the money for 9 months and he couldn't afford a similar house or his own that had nearly gone up by a third!....Crazy

And I think my posts is a warning to anyone who thinks there are bargain Interceptors out there at that price there might be but trust me they are few and far between.

Re: Quentin's prediction...

My car in question I think is fairly valued at £35k but one has to remember that 9 years before it had its last bodywork restoration it had a £32k restoration by one of the leading specialists Cropredy. I have spoken with the son of the previous owner who had the car he said it looked great and was ...

Re: Whats my car worth ?

Thanks Paul there has been some serious bodywork done to the car as you can see, I will put it up for sale soon and will give members on here 1st chance. I have been told by several classic car dealers that I know that £39k is the price I should ask and that in 12 months that could well be a cheap c...

I will be emigrating to live with my son and daughter in the USA this year I will soon be getting my green card but I am keeping my business here in the UK. I am considering either selling my 1976 Interceptor if I can get a good price for it or keeping it in stowage as they will without doubt increa...
