INT 8561 Interceptor III JOE 50L

It may be a goner. My last trace was from 2017 when it was stripped of parts and the shell sold, but it could survive forever on the DVLA database.

Re: Jensens on TV

Indeed, that was an early Interceptor. Black or dark blue, light interior like beige, a saloon, RHD. It may be INT74, a car with a couple of other movie appearances in the early 1960s.

>Could Jensen have done the RHD conversion You would think they would do the glove box plate too though.

They did indeed. This is why the engine bay is a bit different. See the Genome. The glovebox plate is correct at this VIN.

Re: Interceptor II - 125/5148

The Interceptor II radiator has an overflow outlet in the filler neck. I see it in your photo of the old radiator from your F-series. The first Interceptor IIIs had the same arrangement but during the course of G-series builds the outlet was moved to the tank on the other side of the radiator, with ...

INT 4848

This is not intended as criticism because 4848 is one of the factory demonstrators and is deserving of sympathetic treatment. From those photos, the wipers might be parked to the wrong side (unless they just stopped there when switched off). The scalloped bumper is not original to this car (but hard...

The car behind in the photo is very interesting and rare. I hope you stay in touch with that bloke.

Re: Interceptor Mk II AJW 70H

I haven't heard of 3590 in 20 years. However, given that a V5 has recently been issued and the car is SORNed, I would look to the Atlantic rather than the Southern Ocean. Who knows, maybe it has come back to live on the big island.

Re: 1971 Int. MKIII 125/5372 On Ebay

Only one car in the 574X range had a Red interior and that is 5746, Silver Grey with Red, June 1972. I had no trace on it until now. The visuals are consistent with the car for sale being 5746 rather than 5372 which I would assume has been broken.

Re: Interceptor Mk II AJW 70H

This was 3590, one of John Bonham's cars. Pimpernel was the original colour. AFAIK, now residing on a large island off the main island.

Re: 1971 Int. MKIII 125/5372 On Ebay

Bit hard to know what's going on here but it certainly is odd. To look at the car superficially you would think it was a III. It has an early type III interior, early III dashboard, III steering wheel, III headlight surrounds, III front wings, III wheels and an improperly placed J-badge at the rear ...
