Re: Where it all began

Does anyone know whether the cars featured still exist or where the photos for the cards were taken ? Many thanks The MK1 interceptor in the first card is 115/3262 (UEA 200G). The card is not quite right in saying it is a MK3. The car still exists in NZ https://www.joc.org.uk/Interceptor_Mk_1/115_3...

Re: Seen on Facebook

My car was One of the cars at the 1967 Brussels Motor show. It uses to be California Sage and could quite possibly be the other car in the photo. But my record s show that after the Brussels show it went back to Jensen and was upgraded with 68 specs and sold to the first registered owner in France....

Re: Picture request - 383 linkage (CV8 or MK1)

Ok, i'm so chuffed with my find that I just had to feedback to the group. I managed to source a LHD throttle linkage, through a CV-8 specialist. I'm not sure how many LHD CV8's were built, or if my part might have come from a LHD MK1 Int that was lost along the way, but I have an original LHD throt...

Re: Picture request - 383 linkage (CV8 or MK1)

The Jensen setup obviously will vary between LHD and RHD because the rod comes from a different direction, and the D-series uses an AVS carb, not the AFB which is correct on your B-series, so the linkage parts are going to be a bit different anyway. If you get the B-series Chrysler book, which I su...

Re: Restomod C-V8 on Retropower

since there is not going to be a single original part remaining on this car what is its identity? Since there is likely an engine, drive train, chassis and the body of the original car still around (unless they are all destroyed) is it possible to rebuild the original car with its original identity?...

Re: 383 castings intake and heads

Thanks John, that helps. Is the 2780915 the heads you'd like to use on a 67, and period correct? Or the heads that were supplied originally? Reason I'm asking is that there were plenty heads produced in parallels in those years, and I can't seem to find any examples that the 915 were supplied with ...
