Re: Nasty sound - wot's 'appening?

Definitely worth looking at that pump. I've got one of those drive shafts that's missing the hex end - and two bent con rods because of it. :(

Re: Oops

Happened to me as well a few years ago when returning home from the International in my J-H. Diesel and petrol pumps are not very clearly separated in the UK, it was dark, we were in a hurry and the rain was unbelievable. After a few hundred yards or so leaving the petrol station the car conked out...

Re: Mopar off the shelf

They've now released the Hellcat as a factory crate engine. 6.2L 707HP 650ft lbs. They also sell the Tremec Magnum/6060 6 speed to go with it, although you can get those anywhere. :) I'll be ordering one in a couple of months for a non-Jensen project, but I might have to drop it in to one of my Inte...

I've got one, but I don't really want to pull it from my truck to see if it'll fit. :)

Thanks Robinson. It has been a while since I've been on here. Hopefully that will change. Things are thawing out nicely and we're up to 19 hours of sunlight a day. :D

440 six pak manifold carbs

This isn't mine, I just happened across it locally. Don't know how long the link will last, but as of the time of this post it's only been on Craigslist for 22 hours. https://anchorage.craigslist.org/pts/6143218299.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I can maybe act as a mi...

I think it's too easy for us as onlookers to get wrapped up in what looks to be a very exciting project and lose sight of the fact that this clearly isn't your first rodeo! :D

Re: New Build from the States

I do believe that Derek had glass made for his P66 prototype by Pilkingtons. I'm not sure what he provided to them in the way of details, but if you can design it someone will be able to make it.

Just out of curiosity is rear glass tempered/toughened the same as front glass?

Re: New Build from the States

First off this is my car and I intend on using it. This is of course the crux of the matter. And it's the mantra I'm using in my own rebuild. However, if you want opinions ..... :D I think what you've done to date is fantastic, and I think you're heading in absolutely the right direction. Personall...

Re: Average Speed Check Technology

Don't forget that they must serve a notice within 21 days of the offence. If not, it doesn't count. Well West Mercia did that. It went to the hire car company who wrote back with my mum's address, who then got the notice and tried to put them in touch with me. I'm happy to pay as I can't see it put...
