Re: V8's Built By Dave Gilliver

Great to see somebody who takes pride in his work Grant and from what you've told me his prices sounded very reasonable.

Re: Really ?

I dont think any company needs to justify the price of a product, that is the price they advertise for a car and the choice is yours whether to buy or not.

Disconnect your coil HT lead to stop the car from starting, then with your meter across the battery crank the engine for 15 seconds observing the voltage which should not drop below 9.6V. Be...

Re: Another Mk 1 on ebay

It could be restored but will probably be broken for lots of valuable MK1 spares.

It is a real shame that some of these cars are not stored better as they would certainly appeal to more people as viable restorations.

Re: Barn find SP found in rare Silver Grey

I just love projects like this, the car is very unmolested. It has had 2 rear arches over the top of the old ones in the past but new repair panels will remove all of the bad metal. It was getting late when we got the car in the workshop last night so just had chance for a quick look over it. The in...

That looks like a lot of car for the money.
I had the pleasure of driving a CV8 this year and loved it, if I didnt have so many cars already I would be straight down to look at it.

Re: Well known MK2 - Collecting Cars

That's a lovely car..has a few problems to sort out by the looks of it, but it really is a lovely car to own and do bits as you go along..is it not the one that Pale Classics were trying to sell last year or the year before circa £125K http://vapepit.net/public/style_emoticons/default/unknown.gif I...

Re: Rare FF Mk3 going to auction

I think approx £100K is where the value of this car stood. It will probably need another £20K spending on new tyres, brakes, possible heater core and general recommissioning before its ready to be used along with items like new carpets and bumpers rechroming. And this is just looking at the photos, ...
