Air Chamber 07 Internal Car Storage Bubble (Like Carcoon)

Having sold my Jensen Interceptor, I don't have a use for this so hopefully it will help someone out! My Jensen body shell was stored in it for under a year, so it is perfect other than four tyre prints on the base! I think I only pushed the car out of it twice in that time. It is the Air Chamber, w...

Sad Day - OBP 2M 1973 Interceptor III For Sale as a Project

I never thought I would be writing this post, but changes in circumstances, life, a new business etc. etc. (all positive, thankfully) have meant plans have had to be reviewed, so unfortunately I have decided to sell my Interceptor as a project. It is a 1973 Mark III, 7.2 L, black interior, with appr...

Re: Gary C's Interceptor III

I've known Gary and this car for a couple of years, and I've seen him take what was a fabulous car in the first place and make it exceptional.

With all the work and effort Gary has put in, it must now be one of the best in the country.

Deserved Car of the Month :)

Re: Join me for a beer -Rising values are a good thing - Dis

Last orders where I am Gary! But what if I want to keep my Jensen, but the changing, increasing market means I am paying over the odds for the spares to keep it going/improve it now compared to five years ago because 'they're worth £100k now. Not thinking of things such as door handles, which are to...

Re: Join me for a beer -Rising values are a good thing - Dis

You're right, fewer being broken takes a big chunk of supply out of the market, but at least more are being saved (which actually lowers the value of the rest.....:)) Enterprising souls will always find mechanical solutions to problems like axles (the engineering in the custom/hotrod world is testam...

Join me for a beer -Rising values are a good thing - Discuss

Just a Sunday evening pub/bar/bierkeller discussion topic that I've been thinking about. I hear quite a few people talking about Jensens getting the attention they deserve, and at last prices are going up etc etc. They should be up there with Aston Martins and other hand made premier classics, its o...

Re: Moving vehicles.

Hi Paul, I had a 740 and had exactly the same idea as you ie equals tow car. Towed a VW camper (which weighed less than an Interceptor can you believe) and I only managed 6 miles and turned around - one of the scariest driving experience I've ever had. 740 was still a fab car though :) Agree with yo...

Re: A few odd thoughts while stripping

Bang on, Steve. Charcoal cannister gone, and all the tubes associated with it.

Are the three tubes to the filler bowl as critical? Again seems like overkill?

A few odd thoughts while stripping

Not stripping, as in 'male stripper' I hasten to add.....A couple of random thoughts as I was stripping out the last few bits from the Jensen today. The whole fuel vent tank thing - when you look at it, it doesn't really strike me as an elegant solution? Was it just added to as US legislation change...
