Heat required Dave !
That adaptor that's deformed needs heating until it glows red, then sit it in the hexagon.
Keep the heat on it with a blow lamp for a couple of minutes if possible.
A quick change over to the new adapter and a breaker bar should see them undone.

Great day out in Church Stretton yesterday. To prove the FF is an amazing all weather car we ventured up over the Long Mynd.
No problem, does exactly what it was built for !

A sad day indeed, Ron and Thelma were our inspiration to become part of the fantastic club
that is the JOC.
RIP Thelma you will be sorely missed by your many friends.
