Re: GT at Hemmings No Reserve auction

Funny. This GT is #30136. A few day ago #30135 was also announced as up for auction at BaT. Both are without reserve and bids ends Friday. Also, I noted that #30136 was registered on 21 May 1976, just a few days before receivership. First owner Jensen Motors Ltd. and on the same day sold to a US ser...

Re: 1987 S4 Int convertible on Car and Classic auction site

If relevant, we in the Danish JOC know the car well. The farther to the present seller was one of the founders of our club back in 2006 and treasurer until his all too early death. The car has to my knowledge been properly cared for in its time in Denmark, and has not been driven during winter (desp...

Re: Looking for JH -Left Hand Drive- Convertible or GT

Hi Michael, I have an original European Tangerine LHD J-H Mk II, 1974 currently for sale on Mobile.de, which you might have spotted (and found to be too expensive, perhaps), plus a rust free GT project. You are welcome to place a bid for both and empty my garage for all spare parts too. Cheers, Niel...

Re: advice

I have used K&N filters but I found the induktion roar to be too loud, so I am back to original setup.
As you already have Lotus cam covers why not source a Lotus air filter? It also looks better :D

Congratulations Wil,
The more ‘umph’ and overdrive are useful and expensive improvements. I am sure you will be pleased with your new ride :D
Good motoring,

Re: advice

Hi WIL, The list will be long, but rust and engine, would be the issues that could bring you lots of troubles and costs. Re rust: Look for bubbles in paint approx 10 cm above the bottom of the front wings behind the wheel arches, and the same along the front edge of the bonnet. It is aleays much wor...

Call ‘Car SOS’ - they once restored a MB 190 SL Pagoda which was in a worse state
Scary pictures indeed.

Re: Jensen P66 Prototype

Well, John I do have a warmed garage but the space is taken up by my J-H and the GT project, so I am definately a lucky guy :D
.... but I cannot unfortunately raise the money for the P66 - irrespective of potentially being a financial lucrative option.
Cheers,

Re: Jensen P66 Prototype

Hi Mike,
Thank you for your reply. I did expect it to be California Sage as seen on some Aston Martins. It would be nice to have a specific code to refer to, but I assume you do not have this available anymore?
Cheers, Niels-Erik

Re: Jensen P66 Prototype

I wished I had the funds and an empty warmed garage
Anyway, do any of you gentlemen by any chance know the modern paint gode for the nice color?
Best regards,

Re: JH bits

Hi Marc Thank you for listing these many good parts👍🏻 I have a GT project, which is being rebuild after a crash 40 years ago. As a result of the crash one cam was broken. Could I perhaps aquire one of yours? I have never had a hood cover for my JH, so this also has my interest. The question is of co...
