Re: price difference

Yes, we're very fortunate. That's a very reasonable price for the 541 and it looks an amazing car that is ripe for restoration.

Good question. You don't often see them on Fords of that era. But on the Jensen-Ford:

Re: Jean Smith passed away last night

Really saddened to read of the passing of Jean Smith. Both Jean and Alan put their heart and soul into the successful running of the Jensen Owners’ Club, which I was lucky enough to join as Alan became Chairman. Jane and I will never forget how Jean and Alan made us feel so welcome in the club. Oft...

All clear now, and it's now showing up in the original post!

Glad, if that's the right word, that the car has ended up in the hands of a sympathetic enthusiast.

The examples you mention are new cars based on a previous design, but this is an old car that is modernized. I don't think that's comparable. Based on the A and B posts Keith's design seems to be the latter.
Chris was merely stating the inspiration for my designs. No need for such pedantry.

Re: Viperceptor at Historics Auction RUF 340M

Keith Anderson produced an image of what someone might do in a similar vein for the Interceptor. I thought the image looked very good and at the time quite modern and a tasteful update of a classic design. I did the original series of drawings and they were shown first here on our forum and also in...

Re: Aston DBSC

It seems slightly overtyred, UNDER-tyred did you mean to say? Look how skinny they are! Yes, very attractive car to we classic car enthusiasts, but at the time, it was not the forward-thinking, leading into the 1970s, cutting-edge styling that was required. Aston clearly got it right with the much ...
