Re: 128/4761 for sale at Dorset Classic & Vintage Auctions

£20,160 inc all fees. Currently sat outside my unit having just been delivered.

What a lovely car it is, and it has a faded elegance about it that I really like.

Re: Jensen F-Type bodyshell?

Hi All, I have just come off the phone with the new owner of this F Type bodyshell. He/She is a long time member of the JOC and at this time he/she is wishing to stay anonymous. He/She has stated that they bought it to preserve the Jensen history and it will NOT be made into a working car. Rather th...

Re: Dave Newby

The funeral service for David will be at York Crematorium ( YO23 2QD ) at 1.40pm on Monday 14th September. Then afterwards at the Ship Inn at Acaster Malbis ( YO23 2UH ). Helen and family have asked for as many Jensen's as possible. This is an open invite to members. Dress is NOT black tie, smart Je...

1975 Jensen Interceptor III Convertible LHD

I spotted this car with the dealer Graeme Hunt at the NEC Restoration Show. He allowed a couple of us to crawl all over it. It looks a very good car for the money. I think he's got it around £5k to £10k below what I would value it and certainly a lot less than other London dealers might ask. Apparen...

Re: New £350,000 2016 Jensen GT

What might not be apparent straight away is that these new cars are called Jensen. There has been a legal minefield over the last few years over who owns the name Jensen. Finally it has been sorted and hence the new cars will be called Jensen and, as the press release says, a further model will be a...

Re: London Car Show in January

Hi Tim, I think I mentioned this in my chairman's report to the committee. I filled in all the paperwork for it back in early September when I got the email. To this date I haven't received a reply back from the organisers. It's the same outfit that hosts the CarFest events. If they have already ann...

Re: Wheeler Dealers

I watched Wheeler Dealers last night, it was the episode where Ed (the worker) restored a white Interceptor. The fat one then sold it for £6,500. Can anybody tell me when this episode was filmed? It doesn't look that old and if it isn't have prices really increased that much recently? Wish I could ...

Lisa and I sat with Dean and Maria at the International Dinner Dance at Stratford in 2007. Dean showed me several photos of his V10 conversion. The attention to detail was superb. Good luck to them both with their company.

Re: junk yard find in Los Angeles

Can someone inform them of the location of the chassis number and once acquired tell them the engine number that should be in it, also inform them of how many actual cars Jensen built in their cottage industry facilities in West Bromwich, they seem to be under the illusion we didn't know what we we...

Re: Jensen - Invicta connection

As Shaun said, Donald Healey was one of their racing drivers. That was a link that I was trying to use to get a Wessex Area visit to the factory in Chippenham back in around 2008-2009. Another link is that I took over (for my business) the lease of Unit 9 Westpoint Business Park in April 2012 and am...

Re: Electronic Magazine

As promised in an earlier post, we had the committee meeting today and the subject of electronic magazines v paper magazines was on the agenda. The committee has decided that at some point in the near future all members will have both! We get a great deal from our current printers because of the vol...

Re: Interceptor Mk3 from Rejen for £75K

1) The car has sold, that is a fact, not speculation. Anything alluding to hearsay (Mr Wintle) could be deemed as an attack on Jason / Rejen, either libellous or deformation of character, I’m sure the legal eagles out there would know the true term. 2) Long term restoration works costs money. Those ...
