Re: What did you do with your car today/weekend?
Enjoyable 25 mile drive to a show in Chepstow. Along with a couple of Austin Healeys, this was the closest thing to a Jensen which I happened to be parked next to. I had a pleasant chat with the owner who was quite proud of the fact that his car, which was very nice indeed, was built by Jensen.

Re: Deering Arms today
That's a terrific pub car park. There was something about the rear of the 250SWB that didn't look quite right - not sure what - so fearing it was actually replica, I did a bit of digging and, though its a genuine Ferrari, it seems it started life as a 330GT and has been rebodied as a 250. Very nice ...

That's awesome! What a brilliant coincidence of events.
I've just spent an hour spraying Lanoguard under mine.

Joined 89 others ( though sadly no Jensens) on the "Wye Valley Tour" today.
A really enjoyable 140 miles, though only about 25 of them were in the Wye Valley, with a good few in the spectacular Brecon Beacons, or Bannau Brycheiniog as the area is now known.

Is it me or does the bodywork look odd around the drivers side (LHD) headlamp?

Re: Drive it Day
Love the second pic - looks like your car was properly pulled - like a very strong magnet - toward the petrol pump.

Drive it Day
... what did we do? Real life (and, more importantly, the discovery of a gear box oil leak) - precluded me from taking part in any organised scenic drives so I reverted to the original "DID" ethos and used the car for whatever task instead of the daily. So, as I had a garden wall to paint,...

Re: MOT if driving in Europe
Good question Steve and good reply.
On the basis that "A FIVA ID Card is only issued after a physical inspection of the vehicle...", would it not be easier to simply obtain an MoT certificate?

Not a GTi but a poor pic of a nice Peugeot 205 enjoying the spring sunshine today before the heavens opened upon the Minor that I see around a lot.
The skyline I spotted a week or so ago.
