Re: Dutch International Weekend HJGH 23-26 September 2021
Hi Kees, 541R has had headlights and clutch sorted so all ready to go but just wondering if there are any restrictions from the Dutch on travel or otherwise? We have been to France 4 times in July/ August and are quite happy with crossing into Schengen area. Just querying things here so you don't ha...

Re: Dutch International Weekend HJGH 23-26 September 2021
We have booked and are trying next week to get to our French house. The French no longer require tests to travel to France and it is just fit to fly test to come back and then a 2 test PCR with genomic sequencing package and 10 days quarantine when home unless things change for the better. I can adv...

Hi John
Would love to do this as well as HJGH but please bear in mind if quarantine is still going on at that time could disrupt bookings.

Re: Dutch HJGH Autumn weekend 2020
Yes Kees, safely to France and ultimately back to the UK after a thoroughly enjoyable weekend and being enlightened as to how pretty that part of Holland is. I feel sorry for the organiser when so much work goes into routes and road books and there are so few people to benefit but guess the few enjo...

Re: Dutch HJGH Autumn weekend 2020
Hi, we have just returned 4 days early from our French house to avoid quarantine and it was very busy at Eurotunnel but the safest means of crossing the Channel in my opinion. All UK has the same quarantine regs from 4.00am Saturday which brings Holland and France in line with Belgium. Not really a ...

Re: Dutch HJGH Autumn weekend 2020
Hi Kees, I for one am very happy with your response and think it much better to be measured and take time rather than cancel outright as many seem to have done. There is always the hope it will dissappear as quickly as it arrived. It is always good to have something to look forward to in 2020 and if...

Re: Dutch HJGH Autumn weekend 2020
Advantage of Dover Calais is lots of sailings or trains, and not weather dependant on the Tunnel.

There will be exemptions for classics and I don't think it will affect tourist cars!! Many of their school buses and ambulances are over the age limit though.

Re: quick quiz for the oldies.
Just happened on post by chance and recognised number from Saturdays pic I took at Silverstone Classic. Red numbers on white as stated but what is the significance of white on red on the other car? Or is it a foreigh plate? https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6319621/DSCN8716.JPG https://dl.dropboxu...

Passed this Karmann Ghia on Saturday in north of Holland, quite a few other classics out on the road but not quick enough with the camera for them

Re: Classic cars on the road
This A110 one of few other classics encountered on drive back from Menton to Calais apologies for number of dead flies on windscreen.
