I think that the cups referred to were awarded many years ago - I certainly have no recollection of this car in the past 15 years.
The "major" cups remain the property of the JOC and are returned to the Club after being held for one year.

Re: John Bell R.I.P
So sad to hear this terrible news.
John was a great guy, full of fun and with an indefatigable spirit. He always knew how to overcome problems, but this one beat him in the end.
John will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Sincere condolences to Jayne and the family

Re: Rip mum, Marjorie Thomas
Sad news indeed Al.
Dick and Marge were always great supporters of the JOC and the Jensen marque. Both sadly missed.
Condolances to you and the family.

Unfortunately, this is the wrong photograph! The car shown here is Phil Hayes's Tangerine SP
Yes, it's a nice colour, but it is not Mango.

Re: Mango FF.
Yes, you are quite correct in remembering the Mango Interceptor. It was a very original car, owned by Nick Housham, and I chose that car to be on the JOC stand because of its striking and unusual colour. As far as I recall, it had never been repainted (except for minor blemishes) and thus was in its...

Re: JOC Stand at the NEC
A great big "thank you" to all who helped on the stand and an equal vote of thanks to all who visited and made such positive comments on our display of Jensens. Without all you people, it would not have been possible. Despite being exhausted after 4 days on our feet, it was all worthwhile ...

Re: NEC Ticket prices
The JOC will be there throughout the show. We will be located in Hall 20. Please do come and see us on the stand. If you have bought tickets, please remember to leave the "stubs" with us on the stand as we can claim a small rebate towards Club funds for each ticket sold. See you at the sho...

Re: Mk3 Int at Barons Auction
Not only was Mathew a man with a "dapper dress sense", he had style. I have fond memories of him in the JOC Concours - he spotted some minor blemish on the bonnet and took the silk handkerchief from his top pocket and polished it away!

Re: 541 60th Gaydon Heritage Centre
A magnificent display of 31 541s of differing models plus 20 odd Jensens of other types! It really was a tremendous sight to see so many fine cars parked outside the Gaydon museum. Congratulations and many thanks, to Jane and David Turnage for all their hard work in organising this very special even...

Re: One owner Jensen Healey Mk II.
I could not really assess the sills and I suspect that they may need attention. However, if Paul says the floors are solid, then the sills may have been done too. Depending upon what you want, I think some patching and painting might suffice, but it is a rather tired old thing. It does need someone ...

Re: One owner Jensen Healey Mk II.
I have seen the car and although it really is a "one owner from new" vehicle, it does need a lot of work to bring it back to scratch. Thus a premium for its originality seems unlikely in this case. I think that it is looking for someone to do a complete rebuild and it sounds as though this...

Re: mr tony morgan
Very sad news indeed.
I had the pleasure of meeting Ming on a couple of occasions and was mightily impressed by what he had done to his Interceptor. When he put his foot down, the roar could be heard right across the Lake District.
Condolences to his family and friends.
