Re: Jensen Commercial Lightweight Truck Livery
Great pictures Felix, especially the Kilmarnock one. Wonder what the cargo was, looks like chemical flasks and they are only 10 miles from the huge Nobel dynamite factory at Ardeer. Could this be the lorry that was found and restored in recent years as I was told that was found in the small village ...

Re: Ouch !!
Am I the only one who finds the pictures above distasteful. The title here is OUCH!! a good idea for the prangs that make us smile, cringe and sometimes feel desperately sorry for the owner who has lost their pride and joy, but 3 people have died and the families surely deserve better than ghouls pi...

Re: Old car identity?
Thanks for the help guys. Horch or Austro daimler, either would be a nice way to tour Scotland. The Hotel is at the bottom of the Dukes Pass which is a well known "fun" route from Aberfoyle to Callander. A few years ago I had a blast over the Pass trying to keep up with Dave Newby , a nice...

Old car identity?
A friend sent me this old photo taken at a well known tourist hotel in the area. He is trying to name the car and wondered if it was an early Jensen. I doubted that but am puzzled as to the maker. I' m sure our resident experts will manage to come up with an answer. https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn....

Re: Newly restored GT
Very well done Jonathan
Great to see another GT back on the road, hope to see it in the flesh one day.
My last GT must have been a relative as it was NDM 924P.
Not sure what the on road figures for GT's are but must surely be on the rise.

Re: Average Speed Check Technology
The A9 now has the added hassle of an experimental 50mph limit for HGV's. I had a nice run to Tain on Saturday evening with no problems but returning Sunday evening with a lot more hgv traffic was a pain in the***.

Holyrood Palace concourse
I'm on holiday at the moment so had to miss this but my friend sent me some pictures from this event in Edinburgh over the weekend. Glad to see a Jensen in the line up. http://s1104.photobucket.com/user/BJJK93/library/car%20shows/Concourse%20of%20elegance" onclick="window.open(this.href);r...

Brilliant news Mark. A baby seat should fit perfectly in the back of the Jensen

Yesterday on the pier at Ullapool https://www.joc.org.uk/forum_images/albums/b563/portiapocket/IMG_0126_zpsnmymengc.jpg The Lochinver lifeboat came to see the classic car fans and thank them for their fundraising run from Dornoch on the east coast. https://www.joc.org.uk/forum_images/albums/b563/por...

Not on the road but at least its still on its wheels
I found it recently on the Isle of Lewis. That salt air's a b****r.
I'm sure one of our experts will come up with an identity.

A wee taste of the Trossachs
Dont they know that the road they are on is strictly private. Who would blag their way there just to get a picture https://www.joc.org.uk/forum_images/albums/b563/portiapocket/IMG_0106_zpskyjayomp.jpg A few suspicious characters hanging around. https://www.joc.org.uk/forum_images/albums/b563/portiap...
