The British Motor Show

Good afternoon all,
I have been invited to attend the British Motor Show at Farnborough 19th to 22nd August.
If anyone wants to see our progress on the car and of course all of the other vehicles on display we'll be there for the duration.

How Lucky We Are

I think like most of us I take a lot of things for granted. Every now and again we are reminded of how fortunate we can be and in my case I think it worth mentioning, simply to remind us all to be thankful. As some of you will be aware I have been embarking on a less than normal adventure with my C-...

Polycarbonate

Hi all,
Apologies to the moderators if this is in the wrong place, but I wanted to reach the widest possible audience.

I need to replace my rear and side windows with polycarbonate, does anyone know of anywhere that may be able to help?

Re: Fastest Jensen (CV-8) at Race Retro 2020 (FHBVC)

Thanks for the advert VFK44.

We'll be there for the complete weekend and would be more than happy to meet up with anyone that wants to chat.

The project title has more to do with a film than reality but it's no slouch either!

CV8 MK2 Windscreen Wanted

Good morning all,
I appear to have developed a small crack in my windscreen. Unfortunately this is going to stop me racing until I can get it fixed.
Are they readily available from suppliers as I intend to try and claim off my insurance?
Alternatively if anyone wants to help out a poor racer ...

Re: Trackday with the C-V8 (Anneau du Rhin)

Hi Felix, They really are great fun on a track, all that power!! I would recommend have a look at introducing some negative camber to get the best out of radial tyres, a racing seat and an Interceptor steering wheel. They are aluminium and not wood rimmed so don't have anywhere near the same amount ...

Re: Hampton Court Concours of Elegance

A fantastic job by all.
This has been great for expanding the popularity of the marque.
I had offered to stand in for Anton if there were any issues with his car, but he seemed to have scraped by without my help.
Well done to David and Chris, a lot of work but so obviously worth it.

Re: Brake Horsepower charity event in July

Hi,
It seems that we're not getting a lot of interest from this forum.
If anyone is interested the organiser has finally got a websote up and running.

Re: Bonneville 2019 and a T56

Hi Bruce and eveyone else,
Just as a point of order I am going back to Bonneville in 2020 not this year.
However I am very keen to get the car sorted as soon as possible to give me time to resolve the ineveitable problems and avoid the panics of last year.

Hi guys, I have been asked by a friend of mine to attend the Brake Horsepower event at Chelmsford race course July 27th and 28th. The event is for charity so there are no free entries but if you can get enough cars together the organisers are happy to let a club in at cost. It's well worth looking i...
