Re: My Early Mk3 Interceptor Restoration project
John, well done on the engine refurb, looking good. Not sure how normal it is to have cherry red headers though, I posted my concerns a while back and got some helpful suggestions to reduce the temperature. One was to check the timing, turned out to be way off and causing the red hot headers. Mine l...

Re: Wells House show
A nice small show but I don't think I will make it this year Alan. Is it the Interceptor or the Healey that's ready for the road?

Re: FF belonging to Don Carroll of Carroll's Tobacco Co, Ire
I met a man recently who knew the car when it was still being driven.
At a show in Carlow at the weekend I met a guy who said there are two FFs in a field in Blessington, they have been there since the 90s. I was a bit dubious but he was sure they are still there.

Re: National car show Dublin
The DS was fab, I also loved the black DBS.
Bit disappointed that there was no designated classic parking area, like previous years.
A small show but some quality cars on display.

Re: Thunder Grey paint -- advice appreciated.
Looks like the same car in both photos. I don't know what thunder grey looks like but I would imagine it would be darker, like a thunder cloud?

Gowran festival of speed
I went to this event, just thought I would let you know what it was like. On the whole a bit disappointing, I know it was the first time but there were some things that could have been improved to make it a better event. The biggest problem, and one that can't easily be improved, is that the track i...

Re: Int II in RSA £5,000
When you compare this to the blue MK3 on ebay that just sold for 7+ ( even the gauges had rotted) It's a bargain even with the shipping!
