Just back from a week in Ireland and had an absolute blast. Big thanks to Tony for the night out in Dublin before we went down to Kerry. https://www.joc.org.uk/forum_images/albums/xx193/Martinball_album/P10004171.jpg With the glorious weather mostly we hit the beach https://www.joc.org.uk/forum_imag...

If it's the blue CV 8 I saw there recently then I can see what you mean Sandro -

Well worth a trip out - we called in after the Jodrell Bank run which was great fun.

It might be worth persuading my wife to drive home, the Beartown Tap beer's very tempting. Hopefully see you there.

Richard, Welcome to forum. Part of what Appleyards does is selling/knowing about cars and another part is brewing tea for visitors so why on earth you'd stay away is beyond me! Just give Andy a call, the only difficulty is catching him in! Coming into Spring there's a few events you'd be able to see...

I have just got the current history of 151 PEA. Intention was indeed to restore - but the previous owner had half started it as a project. He didn't do much but started with this - https://www.joc.org.uk/forum_images/albums/xx193/Martinball_album/P1000285.jpg ie cutting structural bits out of the bo...

Think I saw it today, it's looking nice in Blue tho' I didn't get a reg no. The red/grey velour CV 8 on e-bay is at Bespoke Auto Developments and one they part ex'd for a really nice Mk 111 they sold last year (EOE 428C). Understand Tatton was quite depressing for Ian after too many greasy burgers h...

Finally free of guilt after years of neglect! Well almost guilt free, do have a polished brass header tank after all. Couldn't have done it without the resources of this community and all the guys in Langley who put the hours in. Priceless picking up my little twoccer today - as was my wife witnessi...
