Re: Richard Calver
Really sad, Richard has communicated with me for years and last few years quite regularly with technical questions and only recently in last month with help on the service bullitins where he was always many steps ahead and I was asking him for plans to update us with a new JENSEN book. Richard has b...

Re: Int "S" at DD Classics
I would love to record the 50 "S" INTERCEPTORS How and who do I contact please This is a real beauty; it looks so original and must drive incredibly; if only JENSEN had had the opportunity to have produced up in West Brom. Superb to see these Jensens coming on the market and allowing us to...

Re: Int Conv at CCA Auction
Thank you Peter for always being there to bring to our attention. You comments are very appreciated. for the money I would have hoped that a better purchasing price should have been paid, as this is very good money for a Convertible. Hoping to make a profit on £67500 in last few years is poor purcha...

Re: Supercar Classics magazine February 1990
Hi,
This Interceptor has been owned by a club member for over 15 years
sorry no idea of condition as it is currently SORN
I had this copy of magazine from new in 1990 and I love the picture and the article. A very special Jensen memento of mine.
kind regards
Neil

Re: SP at H&H Auction 138 8398 DPX 76L
Really Beautiful and priced right for a very good SP. I feel an SP should be above £60,000 when it is in this level of condition. My only hate is the wood rim steering wheel. This is an SP Grand Tourer - Not a Sports car - The normal wheels are very fitting to interior Quality. Great to see come ont...

Re: 1974 Jensen interceptor mk3 For Sale
Oh! dear... What a state - I'd have no idea where to start and that is just the visible bits. Seams it was dismantled inside for some reason, not too good. but the Engine looks non-original so that would need correction to bring it to a reliable condition. The price is optimistic based on condition....

Re: FF Mk2 (127/219) Reg. XEA935H interesting old trade-in doc spotted
I saw this too and there were photos on the wall too including the FF. But would love to know why a virtually new RR and an FFII were traded in. That must have been a real loss in value, especially as an FFII was like £7700 new at the time. But what needs must and the Indy was a real need. XEA 935H ...

Re: Yet another Int Mk3 on car and classic 136 8788 YNE 270L
I would REMOVE the FUEL FILTER on top of engine immediately as this is a ticking time bomb for a JENSEN INTERCEPTOR Do this FIRST ! Otherwise a superb looking Restoation - Could drive daily very easily. Interesting looking Brake Master cylinder; I wonder what this came off of And I totally agree on ...

Re: Lovely 1972 Mk3 Int for sale
This is a really beautiful looking Jensen. I really hope that underneath the paint and the body is clean metal. The advert says all is done - I hope this includes the CAM timing chain and all safety upgrades to fuel pipes and water cooling pipework. The attached paperwork mentions many more items do...

Re: Another Int 3 at Historics Auction RPN 8N 2240 9782
Lets all wish the seller the very best. Say its the best and a person will pay the best money. But if purchased for more than £73,000 before I would love to know how the magic will work still. Only Interceptor III's sold by Cropredy are in this band normally. Obviously MK 1 Interceptors can reach hi...

Re: Mild or Stainless steel exhaust
Mild steel sounds better and stainless lasts longer. I would and have preferred mild steel every time as I am yet to owner a car that I have brought a new exhaust for.
Plus it is cheaper and so having a new exhaust every 10 years which sounds good if better for me. Stainless can sound a bit tinny...

Re: Another Mk2 Interceptor project on ebay
I cannot believe these rotten cars still exist after all these years of restoration and saving.... But it is good that in the modern world there is life to be found although the costs of rectification will be enormous. A brave person is required. A MKII is a fabulous project for anyone; the result w...
