This registration number rings a bell with me, whether its been on ebay in the past etc..
looks like it doesn't exist on the DVLA register, but that doesn't mean its not on a buff log book, in someones garage.

Tash Ranger came around today to do the repairs, The star shape is 7mm BTW, and from eBay as recommended!
