Yes - it is 2023, not this year - brides like to plan ahead! :)

Interceptor owner in Woking?

Would there be a kind owner of an Interceptor in the Woking area willing to fulfill a wedding wish of the bride to arrive at their wedding in style?

The wedding is planned to take place on Friday, 4th August 2023.

Hope there is a forum member out there with a heart of gold!

Thanks
Marcus

Re: Knebworth 1983

Hi John,
The White CV8 was mine, having brought it off Gudrun (my step mother) in 1979/80. I know she wouldn't have driven it to Knebworth, but I think a friend drove it.

Hi Jens - I like your style - luxuriate in your Interceptor with the Car hoist to adjust the height to watch the TV!

All I can say is keep taking the Pils :D

SOLD ...Hammer £130K. ...In fact there were some reasonably priced vehicles here. The lot previous,a Nash 8 convertible, one of only three recorded, and with the same straight 8 as the Jensen made£236K. However, all very interesting. Michael - Pounds or dollars? - would expect US $ for a US sale, but ...

Re: 1936 Jensen For Sale at Auction

Agree that this is a lovely looking car.

The listing is now no longer available and listed as expired today - does that mean it is sold?
Can any of our ace sleuths discover where it has gone or who owns it?

Bridal car for aficionado

Had the pleasure of giving H5 a special run to take my son's bride to their wedding. Jonny was a frequent visitor to the Jensen Weekends, actively participating in the socialising and fun of the Jensen dinner and dance, so naturally there was only one car for his big occasion. The wedding was in Ble...

Re: Radiator grille Jensen S- or H- Type?

The obvious question to ask is where this came from - I can see the sellers interest in it due to his name, but which of the rare cars did this come from? I would have my doubts that the S type and H type radiator shells are the same, but Richard may be able to comment - I assume thsi would have com...

Clarkson article on the Interceptor

It seems that Clarkson has written an article on the Interceptor in the Sunday Times - this was on the 3rd March. I have looked but cannot get the whole article as you need to subscribe - did anyone spot this? It seems that he has been disparaging (how unusual) but reckons you can pick up a good one...

Re: New Lansdowne Model Jensen

Thank you - will order one.
Any chance they might be doing the 4 1/4 litre, PW, or the original Interceptor (1950's) next?

Re: New Lansdowne Model Jensen

Mike
I would like to have one, but they don't seem to actually be selling them yet - perhaps I need to block off a few cylinders to make my Jensen a 3.5 convertible and so become eligible!
Should I wait a little longer or is there a magic inside track?
Regards

Re: 1939 Jensen

This would either be an S type, with the ford 3.5 litre V8 or the H type, like mine, with the Nash 4 1/4 litre straight 8.
Would be great if you could post the pictures and provide more information!

As previously stated - great photos! I may be mistaken, but is the convertible in photo Jensen 07-0002 an FF with the 2 side air intakes? It also appears in a few other pictures - was this the special prepared for Dave Horton? I believe is still in the club so perhaps the current owner will like the...
