Check out those clean fingernails. It says it all, surely?

Many thanks Dave. Especially taking the trouble to provide such supporting data and pictures. It’s really appreciated.

Foldable engine hoist - recommendations
I’m going to be taking an engine and gearbox (combined) out of a Volvo 240 which will weigh approx 300kg. Before I pursue the myriad of products out there, I just wondered what product you guys would recommend. Clearly, if it was beefy enough to remove an Interceptor engine that would be good to kno...

Low mileage Mercedes SLK with upto date Mercedes Dealer service history
My son in law is selling the car in the link. Its a first generation pre face-lift SLK 230 auto with AMG wheels. This is the second SLK I've sourced for my daughter. Trust me, while examples are still prevalent (and cheap), excellent ones are very hard to find. I wish they'd keep it but their circum...

Not many Interceptors around with a tight tailgate gap like that.
Sorry to read you lack the free time to fully enjoy it. Good luck with the sale.

Re: Int 3 at Stacey's auction AJW 219M
If the Club/Registrar know the owner/family from its records (because they’re a club member), surely a telephone call to clarify whether they’re aware of current auction results and the excessive commission sought by this auction house would be worthwhile…and an example of club membership adding val...

Re: Chrome Bumper Companies in Devon
All 3 of my Jensens were rechromed by S&T plate - at the recommendation of the late Colin Holley. The only downside was: 1. The turnaround time was at least 6 months. 2. On pick up, the items were individually wrapped - so there’s a leap of faith that all the items are to the standard expected. ...

Re: Need a tachometer for a 1936 Jensen Ford - Any ideas?
Perhaps it's worth considering why the original engine was changed and after how many years of use. IF it was likely worn out, then I would imagine some of the ancillaries would've already worn out and been changed - either like for like or similar. Either way, the White Lady is a wonderful historic...

Re: Issue uploading multiple images
I think if you’re keen to showcase your car with extensive pictures, you’ll probably find it much easier to load them onto other forms of social media (there are numerous Jensen Facebook groups for example). Sadly, the JOC forum isn’t particularly user friendly nor as vibrant or active as it once wa...

Interceptor/FF Original Boot Trim - MK1, maybe MK2
Before I put away again in the loft or onto eBay, I’ve the following original used parts: Boot carpet (the big centre piece). Excellent overall condition (including colour), no damage. Side panels (LH & RH). No rot in underlying wood. Straight. Excellent vinyl which has the odd small mark and yo...

I agree. Quite a tempting proposition. Hope it finds a sympathetic new owner who will return it to its former glory.
