Re: Issue uploading multiple images

I think if you’re keen to showcase your car with extensive pictures, you’ll probably find it much easier to load them onto other forms of social media (there are numerous Jensen Facebook groups for example). Sadly, the JOC forum isn’t particularly user friendly nor as vibrant or active as it once wa...

Interceptor/FF Original Boot Trim - MK1, maybe MK2

Before I put away again in the loft or onto eBay, I’ve the following original used parts: Boot carpet (the big centre piece). Excellent overall condition (including colour), no damage. Side panels (LH & RH). No rot in underlying wood. Straight. Excellent vinyl which has the odd small mark and yo...

I agree. Quite a tempting proposition. Hope it finds a sympathetic new owner who will return it to its former glory.

Re: Jean Smith passed away last night

Really saddened to read of the passing of Jean Smith. Both Jean and Alan put their heart and soul into the successful running of the Jensen Owners’ Club, which I was lucky enough to join as Alan became Chairman. Jane and I will never forget how Jean and Alan made us feel so welcome in the club. Ofte...

Mr Hewes - Jensen Interceptor V8 Land-rover

I enjoy watching their YouTube channel resssurecting military vehicles. So thought you'd like to see their latest video involving a very interesting modified Land Rover.

Re: New member advice

Here’s a useful summary: https://www.classicandsportscar.com/features/buyers-guide-jensen-interceptor-and-ff If you search eBay using ‘Jensen Interceptor magazine’ and scroll through looking for ‘Jensen Interceptor Buyers Guide’ on the front page of the advert, you can pick up useful info for under ...

Re: Classic cars on the road

I thought for a second you were showing off your cool running Jensen - then I looked at the oil pressure gauge. Guess you switched off to take the picture.

Re: Rusty CV8 on Bring-A-Trailer (No Reserve)

Agree Dion. It also looks unmolested and very straight - other than the damage to the nearside rear. Could this be a rare CV8 which looks worse on the body than the chassis (which still needs work)?

Deep pockets required of course but seems a worthy project (as I’m not paying for it 😀)

Re: Buying an Irish car - Help please

If its a buyers market perhaps the seller could be persuaded to register it in NI as a condition of sale - covered by a relatively small deposit?

Re: Ex- JOC members using the forum.

Don’t worry, it’s not a very active section tbh - nor is it necessarily a source of feedback from the Committee if you ask a specific question. Particularly if the question is something which they do not concur with or causes a feeling of embarrassment or annoyance. That said, and the above is of co...
