Re: Are cars selling at this time?

Have you had a look at The Market - seem to present cars well and only charges a low fee, worth looking at.

Re: Rare FF Mk3 going to auction

I was the underbidder on this, and I would be surprised if the purchaser spends less than £60k on it. The photographs flatter it, all chrome needs doing, badges and door handles are shot. Metalwork - drivers side front wing had been replaced but n/s had not and had rust spots on the roll of the arch...

Yep,
Top pin goes in from the bottom up so the circlip is needed to stop the possibility of it working down!

Re: FF 275 up for auction soon

But the Maxaret valve is missing and I would guess the servo is wrong, when is a FF not an FF. As to the worth of an FF line it up against its competition from the day, evaluate it on driving, comfort, and feel good factor and it compares well. On its merits it should be £200k to £300k so why do the...

Re: Rare FF Mk3 going to auction

Many thanks John, I agree with Per the servo is not as I would have expected, the bottom of the door looks as though it has been plated, there is not the contours or drain holes in it that I would have expected and the front of the bonnet looks like it has a crack running across it unless it is a bi...

On the light blue one in the picture above (not the one just found) the gap does not look even round the front corner.

I think both of these sets are worth putting back but I don’t think I will be putting back the additional sidelights that were on the rear panel they look awful and one set of high intensity rear lights h...

Re: FF 255 at CCA Auction

If you were told that all parts would be on site prior to sale, they have failed to meet this undertaking. If the parts are not under their control they cannot ensure that they will be delivered up in there entirety. As such I would refuse to pay until I had the chance to inspect the parts and ensur...

Re: RE POLISHED /PAINTED MK2 RIM'S CORRECT TIRE SIZE NEEDED

Are the brake discs ventilated or solid. The mk3 were ventilated and a spacer put in the callipers to allow for the extra thickness. If they are ventilated the chances are the mk2 callipers would not have fitted anyway. I think you can take the spacers out to the Mk 3 callipers but you will need to ...

John Sleath had one of the newer ones that made big power, but reckoned the road noise, from the tyres, made it very hard work on long trips.

Re: Steve McQueens Mustang

Out here but hands firmly in my pockets sold for $3.4m plus 10% commission. Car is certainly used - to the Kiernan’s it was an everyday car for years. She used the car as a daily driver to the school where she worked until it broke down in 1980. The kids must have loved it, my teachers drove Austin1...
