on the other hand it looks like the photographer of the new auctioneer does not want to create a rose-tinted view of the car - even if pics from underneath are missing. Definitely a major project ...

Unique "Jensen One" sold
A super rare Jensen (one piece made) has been sold in an auction ... compressed-c1cd2109-8753-420f-b6ce-26bf578211bd.jpg Luckily this strange looking vehicle is not "made in West Brom" but from Designer Jacob Jensen (1926-2015), sold in the early 90ies for breathtaking 185.000 DM (about 95...

Re: looking for an Interceptor
Welcome in the club Jean-P.
Looks like an early MkIII, right? I am sure the car will keep you busy - either by surfing in the JOC-forum or driving or wrenching in the workshop. In any case good leisure time.
Have fun

Re: Heads off or engine removal
i pulled the transmission for an overhaul and let the engine in situ - so not exactly your task. IF i remember right reaching the bellhousing bolts was quite manageable from under the car with a couple of combined 1/2" socket extensions up to about 1 meter length. Than we could reach over the t...

Re: Any Weber DATR experts in here?
Hi Per,
that sounds very reasonable - so butterfly position seems to be ok. On the other hand 7% CO are definitely too much as you mention. Any changes in fuel delivery like new fuel pump? Do you see any "dripplets" when looking into the carb with idling engine (aircleaner off)?

Re: Any Weber DATR experts in here?
Hi Per, i had a DMTR (manual choke version of DATR) on my Fiat Ritmo85 some 100 years ago - but unfortunately i can´t remember any details. Generally i would suggest to check the butterfly opening/butterfly stop at idle conditions. Maybe it is too wide open so that the idle system is not working eff...
