Re: Jean Smith passed away last night

My deepest sympathy to Alan and his family.
Both Diane and I had the greatest respect for Jean, she was full of joy and a great person to be around.
She will be greatly missed by us both.

May she Rest In Peace.

Re: Valuation

The best thing to do is contact an Area Rep for your Area, if not contact the JOC directly and they will help. If you are not a member their might be a small charge for this service.

Re: New member advice

Thanks for this and some really useful advice here. Have been looking at the the for sale section and there was a car there looked good but other end of the country from me which set me off on this route. I think a JOC car be my best bet as more likely to be a genuine car. My biggest concern being ...

Re: Importing car to Australia

Hi Has anyone here imported a JI into Australia? And if so, which Shipping company did they uses (was it any good)? 5 JOC memebers shipped their cars to the USA 5 years ago and they used a company called 2W Global. https://www.walleniuswilhelmsen.com Very professional, very approachable. But they w...

- it would have been useful for people to be reminded that the earth has suffered huge climate changes in it history and will do so again and there is nothing we can do about it. ‘Global warming’ changes are miniscule by comparison - that’s not to say current ‘climate change’ issues are unimportant...

Re: Electric vehicles (split from Quentin Willson's hot tips)

Jesus wept. Colin, the point I made, which you somehow managed to miss, was that we need to move away from fossil fuels, be that to power our cars or generate our electricity. Only then will we increase our control, our stability, our security because as we have so clearly seen in just the last cou...

... Tree planting is being encouraged Colin. Perhaps, as something of a climate change / reality denier, you have a tad too much rose tint in your glasses, as it appears you not seen the news and the recent protests of farmers who, in order to continue to receive govt subsidies, must give 10% of th...

Re: Electric vehicles (split from Quentin Willson's hot tips)

All this Carbon Neutral, EVs, 15 minutes Cities, Cashless Society,, It all about control. If climate change was real because of CO2 gasses, then why are the politicians not encouraging people and councils to plant trees instead of cutting them down A tree absorbs approximately 25kg of CO2 per year I...
