As I am no longer the owner of one, it can only be the best Jensen Interceptor I can find

Goodwood Revival
Had a great couple of days at the Revival and bumped into my old car. Sadly had to sell my interceptor in 2013 (worst possible time) to help fund the build of my new house. BHJ151J was sold in the end to Classic & Sports Car Centre in North Yorks on a part exchange for a Merc 500 SL and some cas...

Re: Blue Mk2 Interceptor on Car & Classic
This was my car up until a couple of weeks ago and so if anyone wants any information please pm me and I will be very happy to answer any questions. I am now Jensenless and very very sad. We are building our own house and as I am sure the money will run out I had this great idea to raise some money ...

Re: Carb / choke issues
Just as a final note car back running as it should and still with original carb :D Big big thanks to Andy for giving me Dave Barnetts phone number, Dave for your wisdom and patience and Martin (my mechanic) for working through Dave's suggestions and using his own initiative. Don't ask me what they d...

Re: Carb / choke issues
Further to me above postings, have had recon servo (Andy the old one will be on its way back to you by the wkend!) fitted as garage discovered leak which thought might affect vac. Car now idles really well, pulls well, but then we are back into the same old thing surging and falling over about 60mph...

Re: Carb / choke issues
Thanks for reply - sorry but absolutely no idea for either  Am not particularly technical. The car was set up, timing etc last June just prior to int'i wkend and engine wise has run really well (returning 16-18mpg) up until last couple of weeks where starting has become harder and harder cos I...

Carb / choke issues
Hi, keep believing I'm almost there and then something new raises its head. Have a 1970 383 MK11, auto choke appears to have ceased to work (could this be linkage issues?), making starting very tricky :( When warm runs fine if driven gently, however if you put your foot down starts to hesitate / hun...

whats it worth?
Will be renewing the Jensen's insurance on monday and it has just occurred to me that I haven't changed the agreed value since I bought it. Having just spent close to xxx£2k on bodywork and partial repaint and probably close to double that in the last couple of years on gearbox, radiator and general...

Help with History
As my car is having some bits and pieces done to tidy up the body thought I might try and put together the history. So if anyone out there can help fill in the blanks much appreciated, especially any old photos or info on work done. This is what I have so far - quite a lot so please bare with me; Ch...

Jensens - ups & downs & ups
Having booked my car in to have the rear wheel arches replaced, bonnet resprayed and general touching up to body (can't afford complete strip and repaint) as my christmas present to myself, decided to give final run of year, picking my son up frpm Gloucester on 18th. Lovely day wonderful drive there...

Red SP
Ok guys so which of you lucky ones has the lovely red SP I saw at the Goodward Park Hotel today? It looked fantastic amongst the Audis and BMWs close by. Puts my tatty Int 2 to shame Iguess it gives a target to aim for. JOC badge on grill looked especially fine

See the car has been Soda Blasted, does anyone know anything about this process or had it done? I am about to have my rear arches repaired and a respray, the painter advises me that the paint is so thick in places that it would make for a much better job if the old came off first (he doesn't want to...
