Re: in the garage

Well known and well respected member of the Jensen community that has attended a number of UK International meets.

I quite fancy a Vitesse with a 2.5 motor :-) Bit far to go through :-(

Forum down Saturday 14th

The forum will be down tomorrow morning, Saturday 14th for an upgrade. This is a core upgrade and won't fix any of the issues due to the forum now running within the website (I am working on those as time allows). I did think about doing it tonight but as Friday 13th is living up to its reputation a...

Re: 1969 Mk1 FF-R supercharged

The panel fit on my Colin Holley restored FF was far, far better than that thing.

Re: oil filter update

It's a common upgrade as people have trouble getting the separate canister to seal properly.

I had it done on my old FF II and have had it done on my C-V8 II.

If you have too many images

This is in response to something that Grant posted, I thought it would be of benefit to other people so have posted here. Grant mentioned that he had images he couldn't get rid of. The issue was that there were images that had been uploaded that weren't included in the body of the post, so appear be...

It's forum time again ...

Before everyone starts complaining that the time is wrong on the forum, you need to go to your forum preferences and set the time zone. Click on your name on the top right of the forum, then click on profile. Click edit profile Click Board Preferences Then select the timezone or click on the suggest...

Virtual concours

Please note I am changing the forum type for the Virtual Concours so it may look a bit odd until finished. I had to take a break to do other stuff but will get back to it at some point.

Re: Status Frank Schwartz

Frank had already been active on the Jensen Mailing List for several years before I joined in 2000, and came across as one of the nicest, most helpful people you could imagine. I then had the pleasure of meeting Frank in person on a couple of East Coast National meets, to re-iterate Colin's comment ...

That's due to the forum running in an iframe within the web page, I am looking at a fix now.

Onclick text shown in posts

As a result of the upgrade to the latest version of the forum software, some web links have been corrupted so that the onclick command to open the link is shown in the text rather than being code. I had thought that I could fix this with an SQL update but on investigation so links are actually ok, d...

Re: Forum search issue

I think Nigel is referring to the quick links on the website to the right of the forum (FAQ / Forum User Guide / Forum Rules...) rather than the quick links on the forum. Other people have asked for the ability to hide the panel on the right making the forum full screen, I will speak to Raj about it.

Re: Jensen Owners' Club Website/Forum - Change is coming

The forum runs in what is known as an iframe within the JOC web page, basically a web page in a web page. As the Interceptor 1 site is http rather than https then a security error comes up saying you are trying to open a non secure web page in a secure iframe. The same happens if you link to some ot...
