JOC Forum Comments (as at Sep 2010)

117/3139 Tangerine/Mocha March 1969. The first Tangerine Interceptor and used as a demo car during the 1969 Geneva Show. Later sold to Edgar Schwyn, was sold from Switzerland a couple of years ago to a man in either Sweden or Denmark for restoration.

I was in contact with him briefly but, regrettable, no longer have any contact numbers. Maybe somebody in the Jensen world in those parts will know something??

“Last I heard in 2007, Skarin had sold the car to Jan Isnenghi in Germany”.

Last year I visited Jan in Bonn. I saw 3139 first time when it was for sale in Friedrichshafen in 2005. It is now stored in a dry hall.

The seller sent these pictures to me, when I was interested in the car in 2005.

Then more info from Seba

Last month 117 3159 was advertised in a German car magazine. It is still registered and on the road.

117/3139, Tangerine/Moccha, was the 1969 Geneva Show demonstrator and Press car. This picture, taken at the factory in July 1969, shows me handing over this car to Edgar Schwyn (right of the picture) and at the same time two new cars to Messrs Pedersoli and Jacomeli, both hoteliers in Crans Montana. I will gladly have a copy made for the current owner of 3139 if he contacts me. I cannot positively identify the chassis numbers of the other cars.
