Early Interceptor 775 MUP was the 87th of just 88 4-litre Interceptors made, chassis No.INT87/5346, and was registered on 23rd July 1957. Vendor owned for about thirty years and much work has been done in recent years including new chassis tubes and new upholstery, car is now described as "an easy restoration". It needs a complete repaint and is missing both bumpers. With their modified Austin chassis and 4-litre straight-six Austin engine as used in the 541, four-speed gearbox and the overdrive that most had, these cars still have pleasing performance today and are comfortable and relaxing for long distances. Interceptor 1975, 85,000 miles, Tangerine with black vinyl roof and louvered bonnet, good chrome and complete interior, the interior is tan with sheepskin inserts. Solid sills and chassis and good cool running engine due to fan upgrades. This has been a very reliable car. Overall in good usable condition but there are some minor cosmetics on the body which is good everywhere else. This is a Jensen you can get in and use indefinitely until you want to sort out the little bits on the paintwork. Will be sold with full 12 months MOT. £6000. Interceptor MKIII J series. White with black leather interior 62,555 miles (believed correct) 7.2 litre with lead free heads. During my 12 year ownership has had vast amounts of work including new engine wiring loom, electronic ignition, rebuild carb, replacement brakes (calipers and master cylinder) new inlet and exhaust manifolds, new steering rack.
