Dear Steve,

Well done on the great work that you are doing to record the history of Mark 1 Interceptors around the world.

I am writing to update my records for you. Please find attached a couple of more recent pics of my Mark 1 1969 model.

Registration: JI 383 (South Australia)

VIN/Chassis Number: 115/3493

Engine Number: 174415E

Body Colour: Charcoal metallic grey (not original)

Interior Colour: red leather

I have owned this car since circa 2002 and it has been a ‘rolling resto’ every since. It is in very good condition now (not concours).

To the best of my knowledge, this car left the factory in 1969 and was sold in 1970. It was originally a ‘metallic fawn’ colour.

With kind regards,

Martin

We have owned this '69 Interceptor for 15 years now. Every year, we commit to a project that will improve it. It's a bit like compound interest ... if you are patient, you are rewarded in the long run.

If you have not already tracked mine down, here’s another one for you. The essential details are as follows;

·         It’s a 1969 Mk 1

·         I have owned the car since approx 2003

I will send through the VIN and Engine Number soon.

With kind regards,
