Hi Steve,

I have been trying to find the answer to a Jensen question… I hope you can help. I’ve researched on the internet and in my library, without success.

A friend has a 1968 Interceptor Series 1 and is keen to know whether the body was built by Vignale or at West Bromwich. I can find no definitive reference as to when Vignale body production ceased. Some sources say it was with the end of the Series 1 cars, others indicate it was somewhere during Series 1 production.

The car in question is Chassis No. 115-2934. I’d be very appreciative if you can help out. Looking forward to hearing back from you…

A photo of the car is attached, which you’re welcome to add to your database.

Regards,

Paul B (Western Australia)
