Selling on behalf of my father

1968 Jensen Interceptor 1 VIN 115/2844, Engine Number 940/15C

One of only 923 right hand drive automatics, registered on 4 May1968 NOE9F it was originally mist grey (still evident upon inspection).

Purchased by the previous owner from a classic car auction in 2014 the car had recently been repatriated from France where it was registered 3126WQ29, works commenced the car was partially stripped (glass, trim and interior) and that is how it has remained. The car is believed complete with all parts.

The Jensen now red (originally mist grey) is fitted with power steering, it comes with its French Carte Grise, current UK V5, Jensen service record and statement of origin.

The French owner had the car stored in a dry barn/warehouse along with many other British siblings.

This car represents a wonderful restoration opportunity and being offered for sale due to purchasing one of the earliest Turin built examples.

Owners Comments (as at Jun 2014)

Hi Steve,

Please find an update on my Mk1.  Will have a better idea of where we are going to go with her when she goes in for assessment in August.  Registration should be fun as apparently Silverstone should have applied for a NOVA certificate when they brought the cars back into the country.  The guy who bought the accident damaged Mk2 at the same auction has just been hit with a 245 quid fine for failing to correctly import it so I’m attempting to circumvent this by re-registering it under a previous VRN that is still on the DVLA database.

I’ll get some new photos when we get her in for assessment but feel free to use any from my photobucket (http://s92.photobucket.com/user/Graham9697/library/) if you wish. ( Note most have been copied into the album )

Kind Regards,

Graham
