Current Owners Comments ( Aug 2013)

Hi Steve,

the coin has always two sites,

I can tell you 115-2734 is back on the road, and that I had several wonderful test drives,

and the radio, you helped me to buy, is playing rolling stones all day :-)

everything is in place now, will have some small adjustment, but no more big jobs to do,

but second site of the coin is, i found out that gearbox is not really running ok,

will have it refurbished within two weeks,

best regards

thomas

Hi Steve,

i am restoring a MKI from 1968.

body was welded and painted.

all done before i became owner.

now i am looking for help with seals and interior.

the ‘jensenmondayclub’ website is perfect for this.

my interceptor is no 115/2734

actual in BRG, was metallic peat

interior was cream, but i am looking to use parts in black.

It has power steering and wire wheels. Originally it was the demo-car with carls Duerr and the film-car at "the million dollar thing"

hope i can bring back to the road in spring.

best

thomas

In August there was some discussion about this car being in a film

yes, 115-2734 did survive.

first half year of its life the car was carl duerr's factory demonstrator.

then sold to a film company, that produced "Hot Millions".

you can find the complete film on youtube.

in part -4- there are the sequences with the Interceptor.

I don't know anything about the car till 1984, when sold to berlin germany.

can anybody help?

registration was OEA 1F.

every info, photo, newspaper-report, internet-link is more then welcome!

restoration is under process.

welding, paint, most part of interior and brakes is finished.

re-chrome, rubbers, electric and engine are under process.
