hi Steve! you mean this is the same car?! that's incredible. I'm so glad I had a part in saving and passing on these wonderful cars not just this one but so many during the Advent out of after the stock market crash of 1987 there was a flood of European people that came over to California and bought so many classics have which I capitalized on. Such a fun time! If I am to understand correctly I believe what you were kind enough to send me is actually the car that I had in my possession briefly. How very cool this is a first for me I want to thank you this is part of what makes this so much fun. I just love this.wow it's little stuff like this that just makes this so much fun!! Absolutely I can't tell you you so made my day I just have to laugh out loud and jump for joy. I'm 65 years old now and have enjoyed Jaguars almost exclusively with a brief Indulgence but a much loved one with the Jensen Interceptor I hope to buy another one it's the epitome of chic. You are a gentleman and a scholar sir! What a story I can't wait to share this with my friends.

Hi Steve,   115/2719 which is a complete original car that seems to have been parked for quite a few years before I got it just over 10 yrs ago.  It was painted black at some point but was originally mist grey.

Currently off the road but it does run and is actively being worked on by my 17yr old son.  This will be a long term project for him. Here are some old pictures of 2719 when I first got it.  Actually where the car is parked in these pictures I now have a pretty good sized garage (total size is about 70 feet x 28 feet) where I store my 5 Jensens.  The car looks pretty much the same now except it now runs quite well.  Lots of work to do so that is going to keep my son busy for many years.

Regards

Paul L
