Hi Steve

Please see attached pics of 115/ 2627. I have just bought her and she is currently in Liverpool having some bits done and generally deciding what works to do and what order to do them in.
I have found this chassis number on the website and it would appear to have been an Australian car? I am led to believe that it was imported from Malta in 1973 hence the L registration plate.
She was in dry storage for over ten years and is pretty seized up but thankfully not too rusty. The engine runs but had popped several core plugs out. The master cylinder is knackered as is the servo so they are out at the moment.
I am going to take the engine and gearbox out, strip and repaint the engine bay and strip and protect the underside whilst the engine is being refreshed/ rebuilt.

Other than that she seems to be ok and complete.
Can you tell me what colour she was originally and any other details would be great too.

As she is in original condition do you think I am better keeping her that way? I like the idea of better brakes and maybe the LS2 engine and box. Would this de value her or are sensible mods acceptable in the Jensen world?
Her home will be in Epping Essex when she is back roadworthy again.

Kind regards

Ed
