2015 Restore and return to Stratosphere Blue

2011 - 2012. June 2012: radiator re-cored

                        August 2012: replaced exhaust manifold and all seals to repair exhaust leak, plus rebuilt carburetor.

Thank you for your email.


I am the new owner of the car and saw the big job you are doing for the MK1s. Congratulations.


The car will go on resto within two weeks to remove the rust and try to have the genuine Stratosphere blue original colour.


I don't arrive only now in the Jensen world, as I own a MK II Interceptor from July 1971 since 2001.


It is nearly a daily driver as I like to use it a lot.


I was a member of the JOC several years ago, and went to the annual event on 2003, close to Stratford upon Avon. I met Mr SMITHS who was the Chairman of the JOC at that time and had good moments with Han Kamp, a Dutch member.


Our aim here in France in general, and in the Paris and close area in particular, is to gather Jensen owners.


I already know several of them and regularly see  new cars arriving! Hence more than in the past years.


Last week I even met a nearly neighbour with an exclusive SP.


We keep in touch.
