Owners Comments

Recently I have acquired (for no $) Vignale #38. It now sits in my shops back 40. It was imported to the states about 25 years ago as an FF (long story) But I also own the FF as well. At any rate, V38 is pretty darn rusty by California standards, but still has a solid frame and original body panels (none replaced, but the front right fender was removed and placed (badly) on a IntIII that I am now breaking. I really like the look of the Vig, especially the interior (in vinyl and I think straight grain mahogany) which is still intact and actually nice and pliable but the body work required to get it back on the road is somewhat daunting. The rest of the car is pretty much all there. to the point: should I break it?? If anyone would like pics, I can send them.

UPDATED Dec 2011

Hi Steve,

I can already tell you that 115/2534 is in my possession. I got in touch with Bruce, we agreed a price and i had it shipped over. It is now stored in my barn in whitstable for future project. I have the front wing too, as it had been grafted onto another car and bruce cut it off for me.

It looks very bad but the seats, in plastic are all fine as are all the door panels.
